Augtober – Foods To Eat To Continue Summer Fat Breakdown

This summer has been a cool one – folks have taken to calling August the month of ‘Augtober’ because the temperature has been more like fall. It’s been said that the heat will, ironically, arrive in October – another Augtober!

This is good news for those who eat with the season and consume breakdown foods in the warmer months. Our bodies will be looking for a continuing flow of dark leafy greens, lettuces, tomatoes, peppers – you name your fresh vegetable and your body will use it to break fat down for you. Enjoy your Mediterranean diet!

Save those meats, root vegetables, tubers, squash and other buildup foods for whenever the winter arrives.
